  Sexual Abuse of wives in the Borg

  and justly so.

  when it came out, the elders and my mother chose to put me in foster care and keep the abuser in the home and congregation - supposedly to keep me safe.. i believed that at the time.

  my step-father who had abused me was no longer around so it was "safe" for me to come home from the foster home (more than 500 km away).

  somebody posted the link where they sell the old co cars.

  i am looking for the link and can't find it.. rejoice in the healing and not in the pain.. rejoice in the challenge overcome and not in the past hurts.. rejoice in the present - full of love and joy.. rejoice in the future for it is filled with new horizons yet to be explored.

  True Peace and Security - books

  i have a question that has puzzled me for a long time.

  i would love to have some explanation because i cannot think of one.. i left the jws in 1985. the year after they released a book called "true peace and security - how can you find it?".

  i got a copy of this book several years after it was released so i am unaware of the information about it.

  Workplace dilemma

  they were from out of town and needed a place to stay until they could find jobs and get settled.

  the "blame the victim" thinking that ex-members experience is common among all victims of trauma.

  in fact we live in a society that is filled with this mentality.

  and we were a part of an organization that reinforced this thinking every time they blamed the rank and file for the borg's mistakes.. the effective use of mind control techniques is not dependent on a person intelligence.

  born in toronto, canada in 1952, i lived with my parents and three younger brothers until i was ten years old.

  there was a lot of violence in our home.

  my father was an abusive, rageful man who took out all his frustrations on his family.
